Explore Emotional Expression

Being a kid can be tough. Sometimes a creative outlet is just what your child needs to express their emotions. “How to Deal with How I Feel” is a coloring book that can be used by both kids and parents alike to explore emotional expression.

  • A fun, interactive, non-threatening way for kids to explore and express their feelings..
  • Positive, healthy coping skills to manage challenging feelings.
  • An opportunity for families to discuss the contents of the book to encourage emotional expression.

Meet Your Host, Kathy Redwine

“I want to normalize the emotional roller coaster we experience just by virtue of being human and our many various life experiences - we are the sum of our experiences.”

Kathy Redwine is a Licensed Professional Counselor, MA, LPC, NCC based in Georgetown, South Carolina. Her private practice, Redwine Counseling, is focused on young people ages  3-20. She is passionate about ending the stigma of mental health, especially when it comes to children.

Kathy launched the Dealing and Feeling podcast shortly after attempting to offer a grief group for teens who had recently suffered two student suicides at their high school. Through this effort, she found that the best way to help them was to meet them where they already are - via technology on a digital platform.
